“SteamWorld Quest” gets major update!

The days of Swedish summer are gone – all three of them – but Image & Form hasn’t been hanging out by some pool. Instead, there’s really exciting news about SteamWorld Quest: On August 8, a free update with brand new content will be released for the game! Celebrate this with a 20% discount for the game on Nintendo Switch and PC/Mac/Linux for a limited time. If you somehow haven’t played SteamWorld Quest yet, the time to grab it is NOW! (Or, well, tomorrow. August 8, remember?)
What’s new in SteamWorld Quest 2.0?
Completing the story now unlocks New Game Plus, which lets you replay the game from the beginning and keep most non-story progress – such as cards, items and more. When you unlock the characters you’ll have access to all their cards from your previous playthrough.
If you want to up the challenge, the new super-hard Legend Remix difficulty setting will keep you on your toes once you’ve beaten the game and crave more. Not only is it more difficult, Legend Remix throws in a fair amount of gameplay twists of its own! This is only available in New Game Plus.
There’s also a new art gallery with lots of previously unseen concept art and illustrations, and a jukebox for those wanting to chill out to the beautiful soundtrack (which is also available on Apple Music, Spotify, Steam and more)!
– The Nintendo Switch version now has HD Rumble!
– It’s now easier to get into the “Midas Grand Prix” Colosseum tournament.
– Balancing tweaks to numerous cards and items, as well as smaller bug fixes.
