‘Spin Rhythm XD’ Adds Multiplayer and Five New Songs to Early Access

2 min read

Spin Rhythm XD, the intergalactic rhythm game with the juiciest beats in the universe from Super Spin Digital, adds competitive multiplayer and five brand new tracks to Steam Early Access today.

Turn the world into a house party with SpinFM, an always-online competitive mode. Scratch and spin along with a live radio to compete with the best players in the world. Work together to contribute points to ever-increasing high scores. While there’s no fail state, dropping streaks and multipliers means a lower score. Spam six emojis at other players to encourage (or discourage!) them. A new mode deserves new songs, so Super Spin Digital is introducing five new tracks along with SpinFM.

‘Coming Too’ by Melbourne DJ FarfetchD (feat. Elysium and Nutmeg) introduces an infectious groove sure to get stuck in players’ heads. Spin Rhythm XD OST Vol. 1 original ‘I See Lite’ by Kitty, keeps spinners smiling with a blissful tune. Anomalie’s ‘Métropole’ is a musical love-letter to Montreal and the title track from his debut EP. Change it up with the heavy nu-disco vibes in F.O.O.L.’s ‘Showdown,’ a Monstercat classic. Earn a standing ovation with the dubstep/saxophone fusion in Teminite’s inspirational ‘Believe.’

Each of the 23 total tracks now has a unique, live global leaderboard. Chase high scores by keeping time and deftly matching the colored notes as they hypnotically cascade to musical flow. Spin Rhythm XD is built for replayability, and Super Spin Digital plans to continue to add tracks, features, and push the rhythm genre into the future.

“SpinFM’s communal feel and score-chasing highs are just a taste of how we want to keep Spin Rhythm feeling fresh throughout Steam Early Access,” said Dave Curro, co-founder of Super Spin Digital. “We’re keen to see our community ascend the ranks on the new global leaderboards of each song.”

Spin Rhythm XD is available now on Steam Early Access in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified + Traditional), Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese. A Nintendo Switch version will be available in 2020.
