Starting today, you can check out the dark American gothic action of West of Dead with the game’s new limited-time open beta, live on Xbox One and Steam* through February 24.
West of Dead stars Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy, @perlmutations) as the voice of William Mason, a dead man awakened with only the memory of a figure in black, setting in motion a chain of events with truly mythic consequences. Evolving the twin-tick shooter genre by introducing unique tactical cover design, West of Dead throws you into the unknown, procedurally generated hunting grounds of Purgatory, where your skills will be put to the ultimate test. Shoot, dodge and slide through the hell-spawned filth of the underworld — and try not to die a second time.
