PlayStation Will Not Attend E3 2019

The Electronic Entertainment Expo began in May 1995, marking this year as the 25th annual E3 convention. Gamers around the globe look forward to E3 and even dream of attending just once. What if you found out your favorite entertainment system would not be making an appearance?
Sony has decided not to feature PlayStation at E3 this coming year, set to happen in Los Angeles from 6/11/19 – 6/13/19. They also announced they will not be hosting PlayStation Express this year. Based on the statement provided Sony is not going silent, only exploring to deliver their upcoming games through a different avenue in order to engage their fans.
“As the industry evolves, Sony Interactive Entertainment continues to look for inventive opportunities to engage the community,” Sony said explained. “PlayStation fans mean the world to us and we always want to innovate, think differently and experiment with new ways to delight gamers. As a result, we have decided not to participate in E3 in 2019. We are exploring new and familiar ways to engage our community in 2019 and can’t wait to share our plans with you.”
