Peel off for a seaside celebration of Overcooked!

1 min read

Team17 and Ghost Town Games are today celebrating a double anniversary, as the acclaimed Overcooked! series turns four years old and the award-winning Overcooked! 2 turns two. To mark the occasion an original Overcooked! comic strip, written by Ghost Town Games’ Lead Writer, Gemma Langford, and created by Los Angeles-based animator and comic artist, Amelia Allore, is being released that features series protagonists The Onion King and Kevin as they enjoy a day by the seaside.

The release of the comic strip and today’s double anniversary follows the recent announcement of Overcooked! All You Can Eat, which is currently in development for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X.

A full remaster of both titles, Overcooked! All You Can Eat is the definitive edition of the series, with over 200 levels; seven new levels; three new chefs; 60 frames per second gameplay with 4K resolution; faster loading times; and brand-new accessibility options, including an assist mode that helps chefs of all abilities take part in the culinary chaos. Levels from the original game will be playable online for the very first time, while the game will also feature cross-platform, multiplayer functionality across both next-generation platforms.
