3 min read

Eleven Puzzles has solved the puzzle on locking in a release date for Parallel Experiment and is thrilled to confirm the co-op puzzle game will arrive on Steam on March 6th! The demo is available today and awaits players eager to work together and escape the Cryptic Killer’s deadly experiment.

Mobile versions (iOS & Android) and a Nintendo Switch version are coming later this year and will offer players even more options to play co-operatively, with crossplay possible across all platforms!

Two detectives, one deadly experiment, a race against time.
Each player only has one half of the puzzle.

Eleven Puzzles is no stranger to creating acclaimed cooperative games and they are living proof that co-operative puzzlers are a much more popular genre than most would expect, with over 8 million downloads of their free title Unsolved Case.

Puzzle fans who can’t wait for March 6th to get here can already take a stab at the previous entry in the series: Unboxing the Cryptic Killer, giving them more information on our detectives and their nemesis.

But no fear: Parallel Experiment is a stand-alone title you can enjoy without any prior knowledge and is the studio’s most ambitious project yet. It has already amassed well over 60K wishlists!

Parallel Experiment is a 2-player cooperative puzzle game with escape room-like elements. Players take on the roles of two detectives who are often separated, each with different clues, and must work together to solve puzzles.

It’s a noir-inspired adventure with a comic book art style, featuring detectives Ally and Old Dog. While following the trail of the dangerous Cryptic Killer, they suddenly become his targets and are now unwilling participants in his twisted experiment.

It has a variety of innovative puzzles that push the boundaries of cooperative puzzle design, offering puzzles never seen before in other games.
