Assemble Entertainment Announces Partnership with Stay Safe! Jam — A Quarantine-friendly Game Jam Experience

Industries worldwide are taking the necessary steps to flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19, and the gaming industry, in particular, has made great efforts to identify and eliminate potential hotspots. While gamers and industry professionals process these unprecedented adjustments, the team at creative studio Nukklear Digital Minds is taking matters into their own hands as they bring Stay Safe! Jam — an inventive response to the new government-mandated social restrictions — to life (digitally) from March 27, 2020, to March 29, 2020.

Today, publisher Assemble Entertainment proudly announces its partnership with Stay Safe! Jam alongside other renowned industry partners such as Bethesda, Ubisoft, Devolver Digital, THQ Nordic, Headup Games and many more, all of whom will provide prizes for the Stay Safe! Jam participants.

While a Game Jam typically brings together hundreds of skilled game developers to work in teams to design and develop a video game in 48-hours, Nukklear Digital Minds recognizes the need to shelter in place during these troubling and uncertain times. Stay Safe! Jam is designed to encourage participating game developers worldwide to stay home and create a video game with like-minded professionals. 
When: Stay Safe! Jam begins March 27, 2020 at 2pm PDT / 5pm EST and will run until March 29, 2020 at 2pm PDT / 5pm EST.
